How Eminence cut product sheet enrichment time by 75%
To address these challenges, Eminence chose the MaPS System platform to centralize, govern, and distribute its product data at scale. Read their success story.
Challenges
With nearly 15,000 SKUs per year and a multi-brand portfolio including Eminence, Athéna, Liabel, and Passionata, the group was facing data management that had become increasingly difficult to control:
- Product data fragmented across multiple systems (PLM, ERP, internal tools), compromising data reliability.
- Complex omnichannel syndication across more than 46 channels (mass retail, marketplaces, e-commerce) with diverse requirements.
- Heavy reliance on IT for template creation and data extractions, limiting business team agility.
Solutions
- Deployment of a unified repository (MDM, PIM, DAM) to centralize product data, media assets, and documents into a single source of truth, eliminating silos between the PLM and ERP.
- Streamlining omnichannel syndication via over 40 automated export templates, allowing customer matrices to be generated in 10 minutes compared to several days previously.
- Implementation of collaborative governance involving 60 to 70 users, which cut product sheet enrichment time by 75%.
“The tool is so flexible… you don’t fit into a mold, you create your own.”

Eminence: A Multi-Brand Apparel Group Managing High Product Complexity
A French leader in men’s underwear, Eminence has relied on a strong industrial heritage since 1944. The group controls its entire manufacturing chain, from purchasing components to industrial operations.
Since 2018, Eminence has been part of the Delta Galil group and encompasses complementary brands:
- Eminence, a premium men’s brand,
- Athéna, a mass-market brand,
- Liabel, the group’s Italian brand,
- Passionata, a women’s brand integrated in 2023.
The group operates across diverse channels: 80% of revenue from mass retail, an established retail presence, rapidly growing e-commerce, and over 20 marketplaces.
A Strategic Shift to Drive Product Data Management
With nearly 15,000 SKUs per year, the group faced product data fragmented across PLM, ERP, and an obsolete legacy PIM. Omnichannel syndication to over 46 destinations was slowed down by manual processes and heavy IT dependency.
- Product data fragmented across multiple upstream systems
- A dynamic, seasonal catalog that was difficult to synchronize
- Need to track data completeness and compliance (materials, GOTS/RCS certifications)
- Reliance on IT teams for data extractions and customer templates

The Solution: A Unified Repository (MDM, PIM, DAM)
Eminence deployed MaPS System as a single source of truth to centralize data, media assets, and documents:
✔️ Collaborative governance involving 60 to 70 users.
✔️ Omnichannel syndication with over 40 active export templates.
✔️ Business team autonomy allowing teams to generate their own matrices without IT.
Outlook & AI: Continuous Innovation
The group now leverages the platform as an innovation driver to automate low-value tasks:
- Generative AI for creating product descriptions and tailoring them to target audiences.
- Automated translation to speed up localization across international markets.
- Visual AI for automatically adjusting media resolutions and dimensions per channel.
- BI interoperability to feed PIM enrichments back into group business intelligence.
Conclusion: Transforming Complexity into Agility
By centralizing its data and empowering business teams, Eminence turned manual, ad-hoc management into a scalable industrial setup. An effective collaboration that now supports the group’s multi-brand and international strategy.

FAQ : Eminence
The project lasted around five months, from November to late March / early April, with a significant preparatory phase beforehand.
The preparation phase was decisive: defining the data dictionary, clarifying governance, and mapping out business use cases.
Two factors were key: the quality of support provided and the platform’s flexibility in adapting to the group’s complex business requirements.
Not necessarily. Technically, the platform can cover some of these needs, but Éminence chose to keep certain third-party tools alongside it for specific stock, offer, or marketplace back-office requirements.
Product data is first created in the PLM, flows down into the ERP, and is then enriched in the PIM prior to syndication across channels. Validation checks ensure end-to-end data consistency.
Around 60 to 70 employees use the platform daily, with permissions allocated by role and business scope. Some contribute data directly, while others have view-only access.
No. The goal was not to reduce headcount, but to eliminate low-value repetitive tasks so team members can focus on higher-value work.
Éminence is exploring product content generation, SEO optimization, automated translation, audience-tailored product data, and visual asset management.
