Sovereign infrastructure, hosted in France with OVHcloud
Data sovereignty is no longer a secondary consideration for an IT director. It’s a decision-making criterion.
MaPS System hosts its Cloud platform with OVHcloud, a French and European hosting provider.
What this means for you in practice:
- Your data is hosted in France, in data centres operated by a European provider
- You limit your exposure to extraterritorial legislation (such as the US Cloud Act)
- You more easily meet your own clients’ or regulators’ requirements around data localisation
- Your data benefits from technical safeguarding: strict isolation that guarantees no unauthorised access is possible, including to the infrastructure itself

Security and compliance, at every level
An IT director doesn’t adopt a cloud platform without verifiable guarantees. Here are the security levels covered by OVH’s infrastructure and MaPS System’s operations:
Encryption and secure protocols
All external communications run over encrypted protocols (HTTPS, SSH/VPN tunnels). Passwords are stored in line with current security standards.
Fine-grained access and user rights management
Role-based access control (RBAC) built on the principle of least privilege. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is recommended, with complex passwords (minimum 12 characters, renewed annually). Compatible with a SAML2 and OAuth identity provider for third-party access validation.
Continuous platform monitoring
Automated, regular vulnerability scans, assessed against the CVSS framework. Real-time centralisation of access and activity logs to support anomaly detection. Security audits carried out by independent external providers at least once a year, covering both the application and the servers.
Compliance and incident management
Business continuity plan (BCP) and disaster recovery plan (DRP) tested and validated at least once a year, including full restoration from off-site backups. A formal security incident management process (isolating impacted services, forensic analysis, restoring service on a clean environment).
AI orchestrated within your MDM, PIM, DAM platform
AI shouldn’t be a black box disconnected from your data governance. At MaPS System, it’s built directly into the MDM, PIM, DAM foundation, in service of your product data.
What the AI orchestrator can do – a few examples:
- Matching and reconciliation of data across repositories

A governance choice that’s yours
You define the level of sovereignty applied to your AI processing, based on the sensitivity of the data and your internal governance policy. You decide which data can be entrusted to a third party and which stays self-hosted, so you keep full control over how it is used.
Self-hosted models (Ollama)
