Magento is an open-source, cloud-based eCommerce platform. Launched in 2008, it now represents around 30% of the total market share. In May 2018, Adobe announced its acquisition of Magento for $1.68 billion. Since then, Magento Commerce has been integrated into Adobe Experience Cloud.
