BMEcat

BMEcat is a standard exchange format (XML) developed and created by the BME (German Federal Association of Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics). Its objective is to facilitate the exchange of product data between manufacturers, distributors, and component users. Among other things, BMEcat manages information such as item code, short and long description, packaging, EAN, eCl@ss code, etc. in several languages.
